Can I still go to Med School?

Hi guys! I'm a freshman in college. I have been doing PSEO since my junior year of high school. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's post secondary enrollment options (basically an opportunity to get a head start to college for high schoolers). Because of this, I have many generals done.

However, every semester since Fall 2010 has been a fail for me. I have either withdrawn from my classes or failed them (F or D). I have even gotten kicked out of the PSEO program and wrote an appeal letter each time and gotten back in. My GPA went flying down to a 2.6. I don't know what has gotten into me since last year. But for about a year, I have been super unmotivated. I am now retaking a college algebra class for the 4th time, and a general chemistry 1 class for the 2nd time.

I am now doing better in my classes and have finally figured out how to study. I am currently studying in a community college and wish to transfer to a 4 year University when I raise my gpa.

I refuse to give up my career choice. I have changed my habits and am now doing better in my classes and would like my chance to go to Medical school. I am worried that they won't accept me now since I have failed 4 semesters of community college! Do I still have a chance to improve and later get into medical school?

Thanks in advance!

The good news is that Medical schools look for an upward trend in your G.P.A. I'm not going to lie though, it sounds like the last few semesters are going to be a hard thing for schools to over look even when you have a better G.P.A. You're still pretty early in the proccess though. If your not going to give up on your dream then don't give up on your classes, get an A in each class and that will show admission boards you mean bssiness. If you give up on your classes now than you've given up your dream for med school.
