Product Description Recently updated for 2008, the Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia continues the high-quality tradition of a convenient, organized, and concise pocket manual packed with vital drug information meticulously peer-reviewed by experts and clinicians of multiple specialties. It details typical drug dosing (both FDA approved and off-label uses), available trade and generic formulations, metabolism, safety in pregnancy and lactation, relative drug pricing information, Canadian trade names, and an Herbal & Alternative Therapies section. Multiple invaluable tables supplement the drug content, including opioid equivalency, emergency drug infusions, cardiac dysrhythmia protocols, pediatric drug dosing, and much more!

CAN DO WITHOUT THIS TINY BOOK WITH TINY PRINT October 18, 2009 Neil Golditch (JOHNSTON, RI) MAYBE SOME DAY I'LL BUY THIS BOOK AGAIN, BUT FOR RIGHT NOW, I'LL PASS. A "POCKET" SIZED BOOK DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT SMALL. I'D RATHER SPEND MY MONEY ON SOMETHING I CAN READ WITHOUT A MAGNIFIER.
A great resource May 12, 2009 A. Berger (New York) This book is a great resource. If you don't have a PDA with epocrates, it's the next best thing.
Great book! November 25, 2008 JT (CA) This book is a great help when you are out in a remote setting and don't have access to the usual resources. It's a permanent part of my load out.
Excellent little handbook November 18, 2008 PA Student (Manchester, NH) This book is so easy to use compared to some other pocket-sized guides. The info is somewhat minimal, but still impressive for such a tiny book, and very up-to-date.
Tarascon pocket pharmacopia October 25, 2008 Retired Grandma (North Carolina) A really handy book to have in my briefcase as I need it when traveling on business.
