what is a premed to do?

Hey guys
I am starting second year in college as a premed and my gpa is not hot it is 3.03 and i am taking organic now (teacher known to kill) it wasnt that i got bad grades at all my freshmen year it was just chem 2 which i got a d- before hand i was going to be a chem major. Not i need advice about orgo and if i can even get my gpa high enogh for med school (i dont mind Do) but with orgo i think my gpa will only go lower not higher what a guy to do.
need some advice and encouragement...
