What are the facilities and clinics like (old/new, well maintained, etc.)?

  • Medical school is a historical building but all academic rooms have been restored with latest technology. World class surgical training facility - SITL (largest in the country). I've heard from third party volunteers that the clinical simulation facilities are the best they've encountered across all chicago medical schools. Hospital is recently renovated, currently modern and well maintained.

  • Match is impressively strong with numerous students matching at top programs (Mayo, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, Columbia, NYU, WashU, UCSF, etc) regularly in each class. Strong match in competitive specialties such as Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics.
