I did a mock interview with the dentist I work for.
What impressed you positively?
The entire interview [the group interview, as well as the 1:1 interview] were both very casual. It appears as though the admissions commitee works hard to put everyone at ease, and really get to know us, versus asking us generic, cookie-cutter questions that everybody with any sense will have already prepared answers for.
What impressed you negatively?
The 1:1 portion is only for members of the Post-Bacc program or for reapplicants, and I was bothered by that. As a post-bacc student, I had to already interview, so I feel like I've already been able to allow the admissions staff to get to know me. If I weren't in the Post-Bacc, I think I would have felt like the application did not get the chance to hear me out, or to know me as a person.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
I wish I knew how genuinely laid-back the whole day is. I'd heard this from previous interviewees, but I still stressed WAY more than I needed to.
