How did you prepare for the interview?

Consulted this site, reviewed my AMCAS and secondary applications, and perused Duke's website.

What impressed you positively?

Awesome facilities, the general happiness of the students, the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone helped ease the stress levels.

What impressed you negatively?

There is absolutely nothing to do in Durham - even the students admitted you need a car to do anything fun.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

How out of my league the school is :P

What are your general comments?

The interviews themselves were very laid back and very conversational. I interviewed with a student and then a member of the admissions committee. Both were very friendly, and we just chatted about things more than them grilling me. I was very relaxed - except possibly the dean question, which totally caught me off guard/stunned me. Otherwise, it was a great, very laid back interview. I just wish I had a realistic shot at getting in :P
