Studentdoctor.com, Duke website, review my application, practiced answering questions (yes, to myself).
What impressed you positively?
Everything. Duke has a great curriculum, supportive staff and student body, and great research opportunities.
What impressed you negatively?
Well it is in the South..I've lived in CA all my life, how can you compare?
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Did not have complete access to my file. Only AMCAS and some of my secondary answers. Did not know MCAT scores.
What are your general comments?
Very relaxed and not formal. We met and discussed things in a cafe. She was very friendly and warm... Even with her support, it is ultimately up to the comittee (wish me luck).
