💬 Interview Questions
What was the most interesting question?
Not a real interview. You arrive and they give you a writing sample to do for 15 minutes. Then you listen to speakers and videos about PBL and how to do PBL for an hour. Then you get a financial aid lecture that is really blunt and very helpful. After that, you spend 50-60 minutes in a group of 8 interviewing students doing a mock PBL Case (very simplified). The 2-3 "interviewers watch and evaluate you as you go through it. After that you take a tour and have lunch with students and faculty.
People are very nice, very beautiful school right next to a bunch of museums, lots of free-time to study
What impressed you negatively?
PBL isn't really my thing after seeing it and trying the mock PBL. Cost of school is insane. Traffic around school on the freeway crawls.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
if you go during the morning rush hour (interview starts at 8:30am) it takes 30 minutes of stop and go to move through the last 4 miles of the 110 North before USC's exit
What are your general comments?
The experience was great, and I have friends at the school who speak highly of it...but it takes a certain type of learrner to want to go there, and I'm not one of them.
