What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

Do I have relatives in dentistry?

What was the most interesting question?

The doctor interviewiong me seemed primarily concerned with telling the story of her success, and showed little to no interest in my aspirations.

What was the most difficult question?

Upon arriving, we were required to write an essay on the topic "What is the most important challenge facing dentists today?". This was to "weed out those who may have cheated on their AASDAS apps.

Little to no preparation.

Incredible, up to date facilities.

Dental students has few positive things to say about the school.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Interviews are one on one, over lunch. A faculty member found me by my name tag, and talked to me for a few minutes while standing in a hallway.

What are your general comments?

Not impressed. Following my interview, my interviewer informed me that my application was very strong, but their strict affirmative actions policies often make it nearly impossible for a white male to get in. In which case, I shouldn't be dissapointed if my application is not accepted. This was a bit of a slap in the face; I was accepted anyway, but so insulted that I turned U of M down.
