Why Dentistry? Although not a difficult question, however the interviewer cut down my answer piece by piece as completely wrong.

What impressed you positively?
The facilities were nice, esp. the new wings for post-grad programs. They have the honors specialty program for top students. The school is among the better situated urban campuses. Nice dorms
What impressed you negatively?
The interview. That a student did lead the tour, nor did we speak to any along the way.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
They have a very independant-study oriented program.
What are your general comments?
The interview was first thing and very unpleasant. I don't believe NYU is in a position to be so arrogant to its spplicants considering its at best second fiddle to a school not far uptown...
