Filled out student survey, read about PBL, pressed my suit, slept.
What impressed you positively?
Facilities, student morale
What impressed you negatively?
Lack of a personal interview, and not being able to meet a single faculty/dentist/dean
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
That the card they give you to write your name on during your PBL session is to be folded in half and your name needs to be on both sides (I ended up having my name upside-down on the side facing the admissions staffers).
What are your general comments?
PBL scenario where you work in a group of 10 students to solve a clinical case. You take turns reading/writing facts and ideas to try and figure out whats wrong. 2 admissions staffers watch you. Be polite and work well with your group and you should be fine.
What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
Some students need a personal interview to address concerns on their applications..
