"Why did you choose to go to a different school for undergrad when you were accepted at U of M? If you were too good for us then, how do we know you're not too good for us now?" I think that tied with "Do you know the queen of the night's aria? Will you sing it?"
I talked to friends that go there, read my PS, printed out their whole CD and nearly memorized it all!
What impressed you positively?
That there's a starbucks nearby.
What impressed you negatively?
The faculty, the students, the staff--pretty much everyone was really rude. Oh, and they didn't like my essay, oh and the question!
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Not to tell them that I chose a different school over U of M for my undergrad! Oh, and not to tell them that I was a Biology/Voice double major!
What are your general comments?
All-in-all I had a really bad time and decided not to go to U of M based on it. Everyone was so rude, I really was uncomfortable, and my interviewer asked me to refill his coffee, twice, how rude! On my way out a homeless guy was puking on the steps... how classy!
