How did you prepare for the interview?
Printed out general questions from all schools on SDN and wrote out the answer on the plane ride. I was really nervous and this was my first interview.
What impressed you positively?
Everyone was really nice and tried to make me feel comfortable, but I was still really tense the whole time. The interviewer did explain everything and even gave me time to think about the answer before I had to say anything.
What impressed you negatively?
The area seems very dead and boring. The townies seemed unhelpful and a little weird. The school did not really interest me and didn't get me very excited about anything, so I didn't feel so bad when I didn't do very well on the interview.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
That I could've done a phone interview instead!
Also, I wish I scheduled more time in between my flights so that I could have taken a tour of the school.
What are your general comments?
The set up of this interview was probably one of the easiest I'll ever have, but I screwed it up!
