Explain the difference between optometry, opthalmology, and opticianry (to establish what I already knew, and what other questions they should ask).

What was the most difficult question?

There were really no difficult questions. The interview is to establish your level of communication and people skills.

What impressed you positively?

The faculty, staff, and students I met were very friendly and helpful. The school, and it's equipment, are fairly new.

What impressed you negatively?

The school is in a huge city. Great for those who like that, not great for those who prefer a slower pace.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

I wish I had known the interview was going to be so relaxed. I stressed before it for nothing!

What are your general comments?

We had a campus tour, financial workshop, discussion with the asistant dean, and individual interviews. The staff was very friendly and helped keep everyone calm.
