"TCMC is a great school. It may be new but it doesn't feel like a new school. Professors are great and they want you to succeed. You can tell that everyone in the community are committed in helping the students. There are a lot of opportunities in community service." | Report Response

"The pre-clinical faculty are amazing. They aren't here to be researchers and forced to teach on the side. They are very student-centered and actually care about how you are doing. They all have an open-door policy when it comes to talking with them. If they are in their office, 95% of the time they will sit down with you and talk about whatever you want for as long as they can." | Report Response

"There are very few residents in the area so you are taught almost exclusively by attendings. All of the clinical faculty are volunteers so they really enjoy what they do and want to be teaching students. They are incredible." | Report Response

"We have 1/2 year of traditional block schedules for inpatient care and 1/2 year of longitudinal integrated curriculum where you have all 6 core specialties at the same time for outpatient care + ER shifts. The required rotations are family med, peds, surgery, psych, ob/gyn, and internal med." | Report Response

"The 3rd year is a longitudinal curriculum where you spend 1/2 day a week in each of the 6 major areas (FM, IM, Peds, Surgery, OB/GYN, Psych). You can spend your "white-space" (AKA free time) wherever you want/need more experience. There are no away rotations 3rd year. 4th year are traditional rotations." | Report Response

"Tons. Most of the hospitals are community hospitals with little or no residents so medical students are 1st assist in surgeries and procedures all the time." | Report Response

"There are a lot of them and many are fantastic, especially the Guthrie health system that has a partnership with the MAYO clinic." | Report Response

"They do a residency director survey for the students during their 1st year of residency and they've gotten fantastic reviews, especially with physical exam skills and patient interactions." | Report Response
