How did you prepare for the interview?

"sdn, spoke to a former graduate of Western, talked to friends who have lots of work experience in pharmacies, kind of read over my resume " Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"They are very friendly. The school is small and its easy to become aquainted with both students and the faculty. The program seems to be geared towards really "helping" people and making a differnce. We got to go into the President's HUGE office and hear what he had to say to us." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The immediate area is ghetto and there is no nice campus to make up for it. In fact, the school consists of one building in the middle of what looks like an out-door shopping center. There is no cafeteria and most of the students go off campus for lunch or even after class is over. Oh, and there is a rail-road track right across the school that make a lot of noise." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"The staff and faculty are much more friendly than I imagine. I feel that they are truly making a big effort to build the pharmacy school to make it a strong program. They are also a bit biased towards clinical pharmacy and I did not know this. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I was very nervous for the interview because it was the first pharmacy school interview I did. The actual interview was very easy going, but I did not take it easy. As a result, I feel like I didn't come off as confident as I would like have like to. But, listen up.. it's all about your attitude. Make sure to let them know that you are a great candidate for pharmacy and you have what it takes. " Report Response
