"Thought about my pre-dental experiences. Looked at application and essay. SDN. Thought about answers to standard questions." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The faculty and students seem very glad to be there. Dr. McManus and Dr. Davis are great, very kind and sincere. The clinic was quite nice. Tons of students specialize." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I guess the area could be better, but I haven't been to any dental school with an outstanding neighborhood around it. Also it seems like it's hard to get on campus housing if you're from the area." Report Response

"That my interview would be soooo nice and laid back and friendly." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The day was pretty long but it was great. Columbia seems like a fantastic school. I'll sure go there if I get in. It was the best interview experience I've had. It's a great school if you want to specialize, or go into research or teaching. If you're into general dentistry, it seems like it's probably best to go somewhere that's more geared in that direction. The deans freely admit that." Report Response
