What impressed you positively?

"Despite its criticism, I was very impressed by FSU's new medical program. They have hired great faculty and teachers who will make it a great school. It's a new school, but they don't have new teachers. The people there seem very experienced and are excited about pioneering "the perfect medical school." Becuase they were able to start from scratch, they have integrated modern technology into just about everything- each student is given a laptop and PDA, and they use them for many classes (everywhere is "wireless"). They have small but good facilities, and when all the construction is competed next year, it's going to be really nice. The students were motivated and welcoming, and the interviews were really easy." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"They are in a tough situation at the moment because they have never had a 4th year class; they can't talk about residency placements or even much about the rotations (although they don't seem to be at all worried about not getting residencies)." Report Response

"Much of the class did undergrad at the University of Florida, and you live in other Florida cities for your 3rd and 4th years." Report Response
