What impressed you positively?

"The interviewers were very mellow and interested in getting to know me. I sat in on a lecture and not only was it packed, the students applauded after the lecturer finished. Many times throughout the day I was approached by random students who told me how much they loved the school, the curriculum, faculty and the city. It was nice to see everyone so happy with their decision." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Not one thing." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"There was a lot of down time. I did attend a class and walked around a bit, even still, it felt like there was a lot of waiting time between activities. There was a two hour wait between my first interview and financial aid meeting. A third year student was supposed to have lunch with us, but was not able to, so about 9 of us sat around in a classroom having lunch. Unfortunately, most of the kids in the group were not very talkative. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"My first interview was with a peds doctor who was really mellow. He asked me to talk about my experiences and asked a few questions along the way, but it mostly felt conversational. Specifically, he asked about the events in my life that led up to me wanting to become a doctor, and if there was anything in my application that might come as a surprise to him. The interview ran about 40 minutes. The student interviewer was really nice and again, most of the interview felt like a conversation. She ask more detailed questions as I expanded on my experiences, rather than just saying something like, "oh, that sounds cool"." Report Response
