How did you prepare for the interview?

"The standard: I read my AMCAS application, Dartmouth secondary, and I watched the school's DVD in addition to reading through their viewbook." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"New England was beautiful! I interviewed during the change of seasons, but ahead of the snow. Furthermore, the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center--while in the middle of nowhere--is the nicest hospital I have probably seen in my life." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Darthmouth is in the middle of nowhere, and I am not exactly sure what population base the medical center targets. New England, in general, is cold, so I can't complain too much about the weather. Furthermore, New Hamshire and Vermont are the "whitest" states in the nation, according to one of my faculty interviewers." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"It is incredibly difficult to get to NH, and that Dartmouth is as isolated of medical school you will find. Furthermore, your interviews are scheduled to be only half an hour each. This is way too little time, and I felt incredibly rushed and unable to talk about important aspects of my application." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Overall, an awesome school with an amazing teaching hospital. But the location and lack of diversity are big turn offs." Report Response
