"Read SDN interview feedback, school website is very helpful, stayed with a student and spoke with him. I would recommend staying with a student at any interview if it is offered to you. You will be able to get insight on the school and will have more to talk about on your interview, plus the price is right." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The students seemed very happy, lots of smiles, facilities were great (especially the gym if you like working out), Des Moines was bigger than I had anticipated." Report Response

"Nothing in particular. I'm from the midwest so living in Des Moines doesn't bother me. If you're from LA and love warm weather, this isn't the place for you." Report Response

"The interview was done by a group (one student, one physician and one professor at the school)." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The day started with a session so that we got better acclimated with our fellow interviewees. This was followed by sessions aimed to show you what the school has to offer (Surgery Lab, HARVEY simulator, etc.). We then had lunch which was followed by a tour or interview depending upon the interview time you were given. The interview itself was very laid back and it seemed as if the interviewers were genuinely interested in what I had to say. If you get an interview here, I would highly recommend going to it. I was very impressed with the school, the facilities and especially with the students." Report Response
