What impressed you positively?

"Everyone was very laid-back and very friendly. The school is awesome, great facilities. Everything: med school and hospital very close together. The new children's hospital is amazing. I was very interested in the Emphasis program and the Electives for the 1st and 2nd years. All the students seemed really happy to be there and they enjoyed themselves there." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I applied for a host student a month in advanced and I wasn't able to have one arranged. I do understand...they have quite a bit of work and this was the beginning of the semester." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I wish I would have had a map of the whole campus beforehand, the campus is HUGE. But I did arrive the afternoon before so I went and found the location of the hall I needed to report to." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The interview was great, very comfortable. The interview was more conversational than just a question & answer session. My interviewer had a list of questions he wanted to ask me but most of our discussion went off the answers I gave. Everyone gave me a sense that they just expected to see you in the Fall, instead of "if you get accepted...." This was my first interview so I know I tripped up on a few questions, mostly because I was nervous and drew a blank on what I wanted to say. As long as you know what is on your AMCAS app, you will do fine. Try to be yourself, they are looking for how you are as a person...not if you answer their questions correctly or not."
