How did you prepare for the interview?

"SDN interview feedback, school website" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Friendliness, cleanliness, new building, how confident students feel going into their rotations and how hospitals are very impressed with how well prepared LECOM students are, very supportive staff, great financial aid advice." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Very few lecture style classes (only anatomy, clinical courses, and OMM). Only 4 (6 next yr) cadavers for a class of 150+, although students report that it is not a problem because they have access to the cadavers 24/7. Students have a difficult time with scheduling their rotations. No food or drinks (including water) anywhere except in the cafeteria (mainly for cleanliness and to protect their electrical equipment). " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"If you are accepted you have 30 days to decide and give a $1500 nonrefundable deposit." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Personally, I think that 30 days does not give prospective students enough time to make fully informed decisions when they have not interviewed at other institutions yet. The med school application process should be similar to the match system instead." Report Response
