"As a veterinarian you will work with mainly other women. Do you feel that you are “one of the girls” and can go out socializing with them? Or do you feel that you should separate yourself from them? How did you prepare for the interview?

"I read SDN interview feedback. I prepared for the "tell us about yourself," "why K-State" and "why vet med" questions. For the other questions I just read over them. I read up on some current events in vet med as well but wasn't asked that." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The interviewers certainly weren't out to get you. They were very friendly. All of the students were very nice. I also liked that everyone gets their own desks in the anatomy lab." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I wish the hospital had been open when I was there or that more students were around (it was still winter break and on the weekend). Everything seemed very empty when I was there." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That the questions asked at the pizza party could all be found on K-State's website! I knew all of the answers to the questions that people asked." Report Response
