"The area around USC wasn't that great, the parking cost, no tour, the feeling of being rushed during the interview, the cocky attitude of some of the students" Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"The location of the campus was hard to find if you don't know the area well. There were no signs on where the pharmacy building is, so I walked around the medical campus for a good 10 minutes before I found out where everyone was." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"USC was my first interviewing experience ever, and it was nerve racking. I had a professor who was not a pharmacist, so that threw me off from the beginning. The interview felt really rushed, and I felt that I wasn't able to tell everything about myself and give a full evaluation. The student lounge was great since we got to talk to first year students who knew the program and was able to tell us how it was. There was a welcoming seminar where they tried to get us to relax, but I felt that it made everyone more nervous since for most of us, we were the first group to go for the USC interview. It made me more nervous. Everything felt extremely rushed during the day, and I didn't like the atmosphere that some of the students provided. I felt that there was some cockiness for going to USC, which is good, but I don't like it shoved up my face about it. Other than that, USC is a good school." Report Response
