"SDN interview feedback, reread my AMCAS (be super familiar with your AMCAS activities! Pretty much the entirety of my open-file interview involved the interviewer asking me to elaborate on each AMCAS activity), talked to student host, read the Paddle (Vandy's guide for incoming first years)." What impressed you positively?

"Close faculty-student mentoring relationships, huge focus on student wellness, really friendly interviewers." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Fellow interviewees were pretty intense. The student body overall seemed very young (I've taken time off, and only met one current student who didn't go straight through from college)." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"It was my first interview and I was pretty nervous, but both interviews were VERY laid-back and friendly. Everyone told me this ahead of time, but I didn't quite believe them til I experienced it for myself. Don't be nervous! :)" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"2 faculty interviews. One (the "short" interview) is closed file and the other (the "long interview" is open file). Both of my interviews acutally ended up being around the same length (~30-40 mins). You find out the name of your "long" interviewer when you book the interview and your "short" interviewer on the day of." Report Response
