"Nice affiliation with Univ. of California, Miller Children's, and CHOC. This gives you a great diversity of pt population and pathology. Very supportive of residents and encourage a life outside the hospital. Night float system so only q4 when on ICU months, but there until 7pm admitting every other day when on wards instead of call. Get to do a lot as a resident because no fellows. Just built large expansion at mIller Children's. Came in not knowing much about it, but left really liking it!"

"For some people driving between hospitals (~20min) is a negative...I wouldn't mind. Miller is part of a larger adult community hospital, but getting more "stand alone" with the expansion. "
