What impressed you positively?:

Great training facilities both at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Sheppard Pratt in the suburbs of Baltimore. Good exposure to a wide variety of patients. Strong in child and community psychiatry, plenty of opportunities to get involved with research if you desire. Report as inappropriate

What impressed you negatively?:

The location in Baltimore may not be the most desirable for many applicants, but I like the area. It is also close enough that you can drive to DC within an hour. It is a large program with close to 60 residents total, so that can be both a benefit and a negative. Report as inappropriate

How was your interview day? Please summarize.:

The program director and assistant program directors gave a nice overview at the beginning of the day. Then we had interviews with two faculty members. After that, took a van to the suburbs to visit the Sheppard Pratt campus which was beautiful and seemed like it would be a great place to train. Then came back and had lunch with a few residents. After that, we got a tour of the University of Maryland facilities. The day ended with individual brief meetings with the program director. Report as inappropriate
