Very strong exposure to forensic psychiatry and community psychiatry, have 2 elective months in PGY-2 to explore your areas of interests, strong child psychiatry fellowship, numerous opportunities for residents to get involved in research projects, building new facilities which should be done in the near future, residents seemed to really like the program. affordable cost of living. What impressed you negatively?:
Cleveland is cold during the winter months, program director just left to go back to Texas but the people taking on the new role seem to be really excited and positive about the transition. Report as inappropriate
How was your interview day? Please summarize.:
The day began with grand rounds presentation which was very good. Then there was a very comprehensive overview of the program by the assistant PD, followed by our individual interviews with faculty and residents. We then had lunch with some of the residents, followed by a tour of the VA hospital and University Hospital. There was a final wrap-up session at the end of the day with one of the chief residents to answer any of our final questions. Report as inappropriate
