What impressed you negatively?:

Where to begin? I was impressed by how incredibly disorganized this interview day was. Noone met us three candidates in the morning until we finally had someone paged, then we "chatted" for a while with one of the residents while waiting for the shuttle to take us to the other facility (we waited for 40 minutes) and when we got to the other facility, there was noone to meet us. We waited for that resident for a while, and when she finally showed up, she asked us did we "really want to see the hospital?" because she was in a rush and we already know what hospitals look like. Then, we get to lunch but had to inhale our food because the resident had clinic. So, we get back to the other facility, waited there for a while (in the hallway because noone was there to meet us and the lounge was locked), and finally, at 3:30. did we have our one and only interview. Our interviews lasted about a half an hour, but by 5 pm I was so ticked off about the rest of the poorly run day that I was no longer listening...It was pretty horrible, and I'm a little confused because I know how much they are interested in becoming a top program, and they are brand new, but they must realize that first impressions are key, especially if they are trying to sell their program to candidates.
