What impressed you positively?:
The seem to really stress didactics and hand-holding methods. The residents were enthusiastic about the program. They have FANTASTIC HOUSING! Residents seem to go to great (but not amazing) residencies. Great regional program Report as inappropriate
What impressed you negatively?:
Housing isn't furnished. They hire DOs and FMGs and a only a few MD allopathic students (mainly from SUNY schools). Other specialities in anesthesia seem to be limited. There is a possibility this hospital may close given then numerous closings in hospitals in NYC in recent years. The interview day didn't seem well run. Report as inappropriate
How was your interview day? Please summarize.:
Go in to the tiny library and squeeze by for breakfast. Sit around talking to other applicants. Listen to morning presentation. Wait around for 2-3 hours for interviews to happen. EVERYONE interviews with the same two people so we all go one at a time. There is a lot of down time. Then repeat squeezing by tables for lunch. Then tour. The home Report as inappropriate
