What do you like most?

"For the most part, the professors are great. Mostly diamonds, only came across one dud so far and she was the definition of evil and shes retiring next year." | Report Response

"Access to digital dentistry. Newer facility. The faculty that are good are really good." | Report Response

What do you like least?

"The pointless courses that we are put through. First year, Histology and BioChem are emphasized over courses like Periodontics, Morphology, and Occlusion (courses that actually deal with teeth). The courses they do emphasize are infinitely harder and more time consuming, and have no practical purpose in the real world when we start practicing." | Report Response

"Before reading this know that I am a first year and some of this is observations and not experience. I will update as the years go by. Little bit of a rant but real concerns. Not the quality that I was expecting. They accepted more students than stations in the sim lab. Had a professor in biochem that had never previously lectured a class before. High cost of tuition and yet they are talking about us having to buy our own teeth to work on. Was lied to at interviews about the amount of patients. 3rd and 4th year students are only assigned 8-15 patients. Don't get many endo opportunities (maybe 3). School wont allow us to do implants. 3rd and 4th year students often get to leave early because they don't have enough patients. Just hope and pray I will get enough experience at the end of this to feel confident and competent in dentistry. The school suffers from the amount of deans they have both financially and in the ability to make quick changes. The library will be closed for at least a year." | Report Response

Any other information you want to share?

"Bring rain boots and sturdy umbrella" | Report Response

"I am an out of state student that is married with a child and have found that the budget they provide mainly considers single students that can share an apartment. I have taken out the maximum amount of government loans available but because the school is trying to squeeze the most they can out of that and leave us with as little as possible to live on that I find me and my family barely surviving financially. I had to apply for food stamps and medicaid just to get by. Didn't like doing it but had no other choice other than getting a private loan. The school needs to update their budget to the inflated costs of living." | Report Response
