The Basics

Overall, how satisfied are you with this program?

What do you like most?

"Great third and fourth year rotations. Faculty love to teach. University Hospital sees the worst of the worst in pathology. Culture is student-friendly and as a student you are expected to be hands-on and actively involved in patient care. You'll spend very little time standing in the corner shadowing. You will be well-prepared to become a great resident. Other things I love: flexible schedule MS1 & 2 with mostly optional attendance and recorded video lectures, 4th year is 100% electives, class collaboration and morale is great, MS2 ends in February thus giving you 4 months of extra time to do things like early rotations, step study, vacation, and research." | Report Response

What do you like least?

"Class is very large (~210s). Even after four years I still don't know all my classmates. Also, the "new" preclinical curriculum (2012) is mostly very good, but there's a handful of required team-based exercises every week that I felt were minimally helpful." | Report Response

"The great majority of students are able to match into the specialty of their choice. I believe this has more to do with the individual than the school." | Report Response
