In a group

What type of interview was it?

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 1)?

"Best / worst qualities (be careful with your worst quality, they ask you for it and then attack you for an honest answer)" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 2)?

"What does it mean to be a professional?" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 3)?

"Why do you want to be a pharmacist? What do you see yourself doing in the field after graduation?" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most interesting question?

"Take a position on Plan B from both the side of a woman filling the perscription and from the side of a pharmasist who does not want to fill the perscription." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"What does it mean to be a professional? (I know it sounds strange but think of a typical answer in your head. Now answer and have another interviewer tell you your mechanic should also be trustworthy, a good member of the community and all the other things you just said. So then they asked me how a pharmacist and a mechanic differ.)" Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"SDN.net, friends who interviewed before me, practicing possible answers" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The school is really beautiful and the administrative assistant in the waiting room was really great." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The interviewers were very unfriendly, including an Associate Dean who I had previously thought very highly of. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"For years I had thought KU was the only school for me. If I had known the school would be so difficult and the interview process would be so cold I would have applied to more schools. Meeting 5 of the faculty members, one for the second time, I question if I would want to attend the university at all. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The interviewers were passing me file around and reading it as I was talking. Even when I tried to lighten the mood, there was not a single smile or friendly glance. When I answered, another professor would challange or just dismiss my answer. For one of the questions I apparently did not understand the answer they were looking for. They asked the questions 3 more times with the exact phrasing, much like a person who talks louder and louder to a non-English speaking person. I tried not to visibly show my frustration and be friendly and open but I was never given the opportunity to showcase my personality and ideals, the very thing I assumed the interview was for."
