What do you like most?

"The faculty are fantastic and really care about the students' success. The new Sorrell medical school building is literally the newest med school building in the country and it shows - the facilities are amazing. The first two years are taught by great teachers with fantastic facilities. The last two years are well organized and done at the largest medical center and hospitals in the state. You get to see a lot of bread and butter but also quite a few zebras even on the shorter rotations. The school is very cognizant of the value of your time. During the first two years we had 3 afternoons compltely free each week to study, workout, etc." Report Response

What do you like least?

"Can't think of any real negatives. I would reccomend this school to anyone without exception. There is a misperception that UNMC only puts out primary care providers, but this is simply not accurate. Students match to every speciality - several in the past years have matched neurosurg, derm, etc." Report Response
