"The environment. There are plenty of opportunities to make medical school exactly what you want (which is probably true at many schools). If you want to study all the time and honor everything you can. If you want to have a personal life and pass and still do ok in the match, you can. If you want to be involved in the community, a specific cause or just stay in excellent shape - you can do that too." Report Response
"Med school is hard. Period. Some of the first and second year professors STINK, because they are PhDs that don't get the medicine and they don't care that much. Its unfortunate, but also probably true at every school. Depending on your study style this may be very frustrating for you. But we also have some incredible award winning teachers (anatomy, physiology, pathology). Again, no school has an awesome teacher for everything. Overall the curriculum and teaching is above average from speaking to other students at other schools and I wish I had put more faith in the curriculum for teaching me what I needed to know."
