"Though Vermont MD/PhD program is relatively new (in its 3rd year) and small, the students seems happy and the faculty seems nice and enthusiastic. Research programs are well defined with appropriate themes but there are plenty of opportunity for interdisciplinary research. It's cold up here but the people are super friendly. I was arranged for staying the night before at the Radisson overlooking lake Champlain. Come early and you can watch the spectacular sunset over the mountains and the lake right from your room. The dinner on the night before the interview was a good ways to learn about the school from the director and the students. I interviewed with 2 MDs 1 MD/PhD student 1 PhD faculty and a brief talk with the MD/PhD director. I was interviewed in a room that has the view of the Green mountain. It was a really relaxing view and helped initiating small talks. I stongly consider going here if accepted. " Report Response
