What impressed you positively?

"Philadelphia is an awesome city. The school has so many different clinics and I love that it has its own science faculty. The DentSim lab is also fantastic. The required externship is a unique and exciting part of their curriculum. It's also great that all the Penn schools are together - vet, med, business - so there are many opportunities for a well-rounded course of study." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The basement - the ceiling is so close to your head and it's made of big dirty pipes. I've also seen nicer (brighter, more up-to-date) first year clinic labs. They are renovating, though. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Taxis are only about $26 to and from airport & UPenn. Philly is great - I wish I'd stayed longer." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"We all arrived at a room with several tables/desks set up. There were about 10 of us. Ms. Cacas gave a thorough presentation about the school. Penn had one of the best financial aid talks I've heard (though they need it -- expen$ive). Then we went off to student guided tours, self-guided tours, or interviews. At noon we had lunch with several current students who answered our questions. We were all through by 2pm." Report Response
