What are your general comments?

"The Iowa interview for the MD is odd. It's "standarized," so there's no feedback. Just you and two people in a room. They ask you a question and you answer until you feel like you are done. They wait a few seconds to make sure you are done, then ask the next question. No interaction. It's really important to get through all the questions, because after the structured segment, they have unstructured time when they can ask the questions they have about your answers and your application. The PhD interviews were relaxed conversations with really neat scientists. Not at all scary. Just really interesting." Report Response
