How did you prepare for the interview?

"Spoke to people who had been on admissions committes. Read about ethics (UW bioethics website and books on clinical ethics) and HMOs. Went through a semi-mock interview with a friend." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The interview was a positive experience. I am not sure whether I will get in, but everyone was courteous and had taken the time to read my file. I felt like my interview lasted 15 minutes but in reality it probably took 30." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"They weren't going to ask any ethical questions. I believe they ask ethical questions to most people. Had I known I wasn't going to have to worry about transplants, DNRs, etc, I wouldn't have practiced so much." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"This interview was much less stressful than I had anticipated. I studied ethics for weeks prior to the interview and I didn't get asked one medical ethics question." Report Response
