"A lot of questions pointing to one's moral character, values, ethics, etc. Nothing flat out, just scenarios evaluation these values" Report Response

"Effects of poverty on health; my opinions on people adopting children from Tsunami ravaged countries" Report Response

"Something along the lines of letting an applicant in with a degenerative disease and then flipping it on me if I got into medical school and developed the same degenerative disease" Report Response

"Mock interviews, pracised main speaking points aloud, reseached current events, especially pertaining to the medical community, reviewed my personal statment tons" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"None of the panelists were rude or indifferent to my answers; a stark contrast to my interview last year at the U of M." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I found a lot of the Q & A with medical students a little unecessary before the interview, considering none of us have been accepted into the program yet. I suppose it was more for out of province applicants." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Born in Winnipeg, have been at the U of M forever, no surprises." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I truly feel that I had a solid interview; obviously, I don't know how the panelists felt of me, but I'm hoping they enjoyed meeting with me and were impressed by some of my answers. At the end of the day, the MCAT is the primary determinant for entry at the U of M, encompassing 50% of the application criteria. " Report Response
