What impressed you positively?

"The resources and opportunities at Hopkins are unparalleled. If you have an idea and the motivation, you can get it done here. The students were laid back despite my reservations. My interviewer was fantastic--she was genuine and interested by my answers. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Baltimore's a much rougher city than I expected, yet that probably means the clinical opportunities are superb. The multi-tiered grading system seems to cause a lot of competition between students (although it wasn't evident or they were good at hiding it)" Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Driving on the East Coast is nuts. They're crazy aggressive (I'm a midwesterner)." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I had a great time. There's a meet-and-greet the night before with a tour of Reed Hall. I really like the idea of a dorm setting to create community between the students. The next day, there was the option of visiting classes in the morning. The day formally started at 11:30am with Dean White speaking to us about admissions and financial aid. We had a lunch with students and faculty at small tables, took a brief tour of campus, and returned for an open-file faculty interview and a closed-file student interview. If you get a chance to travel, inner-Harbor is gorgeous." Report Response
