How did you prepare for the interview?

"Reading "Understanding Health Policy"-- even though it usually put me to sleep. That book is not written to be very entertaining, obviously! Rehearsed answers with family/friends, in my head... Kept up with the news. Read over my application." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The lunch with the 2nd year students was really the highlight of my day. They were so enthusiastic and informative. They sound like they have more free time than I thought... I was also happy how nice the other interviewees were. Some seemed cold and competitive, but most were NOT." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"People always complain about the facilities, but I have seen worse!! I just wish I could have "read" my interviewers more... For all I know they were thinking, "wow, she's awesome," or "what is she thinking applying here?" Also the interview felt sort of rushed, but I understand that they've got NUMEROUS people to see." What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"About all of the great programs UW has, especially the RUOP. That I would get no ethical questions whatsoever. I like those!" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Overall I was happy with the experience. I am just anxious to hear back with what their decision is. The interviewers were incredibly nice and I couldn't believe how comfortable the setting was. It was simply amazing how nice and comforting they were. Not intimidating at all." Report Response
