What impressed you positively?

"EVMS has a great interpersonal atmosphere. The standardized patient program is awesome! Huge emphasis on communicatin skills and bedside manner." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I'm a non-traditional applicant, so the main negative to me was that all the students there seemed to be really young. I didn't notice anyone else who appeared to be in my decade. Also, I didn't like the heavy emphasis on social clubs and volunteer events. You get the feeling that if you don't participate in these things, then you won't fit in at EVMS. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That I'm an idiot." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Laid back, although one person played good cop and the other person played bad cop. There were supposed to be 3 persons on the panel, but I ended up with only 2. They both seemed quite young. I didn't think the interview was bad, but I do think I rambled on sometimes. Brevity and concision have never been my strong points. But overall, I think it was a good experience. I'm glad this was my 1st stop on the interview trail. Good practice." Report Response
