"You are a doctor in a small town with a lethal disease spreading. You have to allocate a limited vaccine supply, why gets the vaccine first?" Report Response | I was asked this question too

"One of the interviewers spent maybe 15-20 minutes having me ask him questions. After the first couple, I couldn't think of anything else to ask him!" Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read website, talked to current students, watched FIU_med on snapchat, watched videos from local news stations about FIU, watched all the videos on the FIU Med Youtube account, talked to some doctors I worked with about the school." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The early clinical experience and legendarily high STEP scored (like a 238 average or something). Also a super happy, supportive atmosphere" Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"They make you buy a very expensive computer at the start of med school ($1700). Only 3 cadavers for the whole class, all pro-sected (no dissection). Cost of living is not cheap and clinicals are all over the place (lots of driving)" Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That one of my interviewers would be a MS2!" Report Response
