"Who has had the greatest influence in your life? Why? Who else? (This ''who else'' threw me for a second, because I had considered who I would say for my greatest influence, but not really beyond that.)" Report Response

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 2)?

"You are a pediatric surgeon, and you have just had two different babies born who both have life-threatening heart defects. If neither of them get a transplant, they are both expected to die in the next 36 hours. The only difference between the two is that one is completely normal, while the other has Down Syndrome. You get a call saying that a baby has been born with no brain, but his other organs are in perfect shape. Thus, you only have one heart to give. As the doctor, you must decide who receives the heart. Tell me about your thought process in making this decision." Report Response

"the campus was really spread out, with a few resources here and a few there, all mixed in with other areas, such as the nursing school." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"that if you move to Kansas only to go to school, you cannot legally become a resident simply because you moved there only for that purpose, and as a result, you'll have to pay full out-of-state tuition all four years." Report Response

"Positive. The people were GREAT, and everybody was very helpful. The whole process is very much what I expected. " Report Response
