"I interviewed a long time ago but forgot to post. No specific questions really. Asked about why I minored in sociology, my favorite sociology course. Mostly conversational... constant dialogue with few direct questions." Report Response | I was asked this question too

"Nothing too difficult. Asked me the name the professor of my favorite sociology class and it took me a second to remember it. (He wanted to possible contact her about giving a lecture on sociology of health)." Report Response | I was asked this question too

"SDN, NYMC website, learned about the school (I was asked Why NYMC?), had uncle asked me questions, etc." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Great interviewer who was so relaxed. Told me not to be nervous, etc. Nice anatomy lab, friendly faculty." Report Response

"On campus housing could be a negative depending on your preference, students seemed VERY stressed, library doesn't stay open late, few food options on the campus (cafeteria closes early too)" Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"nothing really. This was my third and final interview of the medical school application process, so I was just so relaxed and decided to go for it without being nervous, and I think that worked out best for me." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Great experience in the actual interview. Kind of tough to be there at 8:00AM, but it was alright because we got out early. Once again, being relaxed was key. I don't think that anyone in my group had an aweful experience. Know why you want to go to NYMC (what appeals to you)." Report Response
