How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read ''typical'' interview questions, answering probably 75 of them. Read up on current issues, AVMA policies. I would suggest going to the AVMA website and browsing the links on the main page...extremely helpful." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Very friendly; the admissions coordinator was on hand in the waiting room to make conservation and ease some of the tension. People were very friendly, as they have been throughout the process. Any stress was simply the inherent stress of interviewing." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I really think the interviews are too short to get a good impression of the student. And there was very little time to ask your own questions, though they did make the effort." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That there certainly wouldn't be enough time to ask the 75 questions I'd studied! But I'm glad I did." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"As I said, all along everyone from VMRCVM has been extremely friendly and helpful, which will be important if I am invited to attend there. Also, at the end of my ''cold'' interview, one of the interviewers said ''See you in the fall!'' So I have high hopes :-)" Report Response
