"All the same you've seen posted in other feedbacks. They used a standard form. They will use the same questions all year. They do this to keep a level playing field for all applicants in a cycle. " Report Response

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 2)?

"Why osteopathic medicine? 5 year old playing with hammer hurts hand, what do you do? Why the northwest? How do we fix health care? etc" Report Response

What was the most difficult question?

"Your greatest weakness? grrr, I hate that one. Be honest, I was (maybe to much) but I got accepted, so no harm. " Report Response

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read feedback. Again, a low stress interview. Best advice? Don't freak out. " Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"School has very caring faculty. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Very new. Lack of full accreditation. Still much work to establish the school. Also, since they rely on private donations, I foresee issues with the downturn of the economy. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"If you rent a car, go drive the mountain passes. Beautiful! Also, bring a book or something to read. There is a few hours wait while the interviews are going on. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The school has promise. If they can achieve their goals, I'm sure it will be a very good place to learn rural medicine. They are very dedicated to the northwest, so don't go here thinking otherwise. " Report Response
