""Why do you want to be a dentist?"" Report Response | I was asked this question too
""Why did you choose to apply to the University of Florida?"" Report Response | I was asked this question too
""Your DAT scores are not in the top 5%, what did you do wrong in studying, and how are you going to fix it?" (They then proceeded to cut me off when I was telling them how I studied, and handed me information on a CD I "had" to purchase if I wanted to do well enough to attend their school...extremely rude)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"How do I feel that my previous work in dental offices will help me in dental school?" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"All the rest of them...the interviewers fire questions at you nonstop and when you take too long to answer or go into too much detail, they promptly let you know that you are taking too much time." Report Response | I was asked this question too
"Read through the University of Florida Dental School catalog and did a little research on the school itself" Report Response
"Everything was very organized, and the luncheon was great" Report Response
"They fire questions at you nonstop, and you can instantly tell they don't care anything about your answers, they are just interested in your scores" Report Response
"I paid around $700 for airfare, hotel stay, and food, and they proceeded to tell me that they weren't even going to consider accepting me unless my DAT scores were better. Why couldn't they have bothered to tell me that before I flew down there? " Report Response
"A complete waste of my time and money, the interviewers are rude, condescending, and don't care about you as a person. They look only at your scores (and will comment on them if they are not within the top 3%, no exaggeration) so that when the "Entering Class Information" is published in next year's Barron's Book, their school will look good. Plain and simple. " Report Response
